About SaunaFindr
SaunaFindr is an independent directory that helps you find a sauna anywhere in Australia, from social bathhouses in Sydney and Melbourne to wood-fired floating saunas in Tasmania and beachside saunas in Perth.
What you’ll find here
- Listings by state and city, so you can see what’s near you or where you’re travelling.
- Sauna types and facilities: Finnish, infrared, wood-fired and hot-stone saunas, plus ice baths, cold plunges, steam rooms and mineral pools.
- Indicative prices and links straight to each venue’s website for booking.
- Plain-English guides to sauna types, contrast therapy and etiquette.
How listings are put together
We research listings from venue websites, tourism bodies and published guides, and we invite owners to add and update their own details. Prices, hours and facilities change, so always check with the venue before you visit. If something’s wrong, let us know and we’ll fix it.

Our editorial standards
Every listing starts with research from public sources: the venue's own website and booking pages, state and local tourism bodies, and published guides from Australian lifestyle media. We record where each detail came from so it can be re-checked.
We only list venues the public can visit. We do not accept payment to change factual details, and featured placements are clearly labelled. Listings show the date their details were last checked.
How we describe facilities
Facility tags, such as Finnish sauna, infrared, ice bath, cold plunge or steam room, reflect what the venue advertises. Our visitor guides explain how each facility generally works so first-timers know what to expect, and we avoid health claims beyond well-established safety advice.
Corrections
Prices, hours and facilities change. If you spot something out of date, tell us and we will update it, usually within a few days.
